Polo, perhaps one of the oldest, and certainly one of the most exciting of sports, has its first Lincolnshire home at Leadenham Polo Club. As the first and only polo club in the county, we recognise the importance of making this great sport as accessible as possible. Leadenham Polo Club provides an opportunity for those of any riding ability (including no riding ability at all!) to try the sport for the first time, whilst at the same time providing a first class facility for the most experienced of players.
We have constructed one full sized laser levelled ground to international standards, sown with the latest grass blend – the work carried out by some of the county’s top specialists. (We also have a practice area for lessons and a second ground up the road just to the south of Lincoln). The club’s twenty ponies, available to hire for lessons, were handpicked in Argentina last year by England Player Henry Brett. The Club also has two Clubhouses, where members and players can relax after play, but which are also available as venues to hire for a variety of functions and events.
Lessons will be run by our Argentine professional, Christian Syddal, as well as a wide variety of courses, ranging from introductory one day courses for novices, to more extensive courses – all of which will be constructed around the needs and wishes of the clients. |
